Biography
Dr. Harris received his MD from Stanford University in 1970. He trained in radiation oncology at the Harvard Joint Center for Radiation Therapy, and joined the DFCI staff in 1977. He chairs the Department of Radiation Oncology at DFCI, Brigham and Womens Hospital, and Childrens Hospital, which constitute the Longwood Radiation Oncology Center. Dr. Harris is the recipient of the 2007 ASTRO Gold Medal and the 2008 ASCO Gianni Bonadonna Breast Cancer Research Award.
