Biography
My research is both clinical and preclinical, focused on the use of imaging to enhance the diagnostic work-up of disease. I am currently working in the laboratory of Andrew Kung, MD PhD on a project aimed at increasing the sensitivity and specificity of imaging solid tumor micrometastases. I am likewise working on a combined pediatric and adult protocol, under the guidance of Carlos Rodriguez-Galindo, MD aimed at improving the detection of lymph node involvement in individuals with soft tissue sarcoma. Additional interests include work with Lisa Diller, MD on a targeted screening protocol using whole-body MRI for patients wtih Li Fraumeni Syndrome and a retrospective chart review with Lewis Silverman, MD aimed at generating an evidence-based imaging algorithm to guide practitioners treating leukemia patients with fever and neutropenia.
