    Biography

    Dr. Patenaude received her PhD in 1973 from Michigan State University. In 1983, she joined DFCI, where she is director of psycho-oncology research in the Department of Pediatric Oncology. Her current research focuses on psychological outcomes of cancer genetic testing and pediatric cancer treatment. She is an active voice for improved genetic education for health care providers, especially psychologists.
