Biography
David Kwiatkowski earned a BSc from Caltech in 1972 and a PhD from MIT in 1975, both in Mathematics. He received his MD degree from Columbia University in 1979. He completed Internal Medicine and then Hematology-Oncology training at the Massachusetts General Hospital in 1979-1984.
Dr. Kwiatkowski became interested in thoracic oncology at that time, and has been active in various aspects of lung cancer research for the past 25 years.
He also trained in human genetics, and developed a research program in human genetics focusing on TSC and LAM.
