Biography
Nageatte Ibrahim, MD is a graduate of MCP-Hahnemann School of Medicine in Philadelphia. She commenced her internal medicine residency at MCP- Hahnemann and completed her final year at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Virginia.
Embarking on her career in medical oncology, she completed her fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at Tufts medical center and studied the genetic implications of mutated BRAF in a melanoma mouse model. Following her fellowship, she completed a post-doctoral research fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital where she continued her research in melanoma genetics as well as in hereditary ovarian and best cancer.
She joined the faculty at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute/Brigham and Womens Hospital to continue her clinical and research interests in treating patients with melanoma. Her research interests include targeted-therapeutics, melanoma genetics as well as studying the implications of vitamin D deficiency in patients with melanoma.
