Biography
Dr. Saavedra received his medical degree and doctorate from The University of Pennsylvania Medical School in 2000. He subsequently completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital, a second residency in Dermatology at the Harvard Medical School Combined Program, and his fellowship in Dermatopathology at the Harvard Combined Dermatopathology Program. He joined the staff of DFCI and Brigham and Women's Hospital in 2007, where he is a medical dermatologist and clinical investigator in the Cutaneous Oncology Program. His research focuses on graft versus host disease and adverse cutaneous drug reactions.
